The Baluster collection draws inspiration from the balustrade, a ubiquitous structural and decorative element in colonial Hispanic architecture. As the central motif of every piece, wooden balusters are used primarily as a support structure, while their placements and variations create interesting, dynamic patterns. The Francisca cabinet, reminiscent of classic storage furniture used in traditional Filipino homes, is given an update with the smart use of balusters, livened up by Philippine Toile de Joie and striped color motif on its numerous shelves.
The Francisca is made of kiln-dried Gmelina wood and MDF board.
ITO KISH Design Collections are primarily made-to-order with 45 to 60 working days, production lead time depending on the season. Packaging is basic to protect surfaces and corners. Cost for box, crating, and delivery will be an additional cost if required.
